The Inspectors Report has been received by the Central Lincolnshire Joint Strategic Planning Committee. It is accompanied by an Appendix with a Schedule of Main Modifications. The Report and Appendix are now available to view on the Central Lincolnshire Home Page, Local Plan Review Page and in the Planning Policy Library under document reference STA033 and STA033a and in the Examination Library under document reference EX040 and EX040A.

The Consultation on the Recommended Main Modifications, Additional 'Minor' Modifications and Recommended Policies Map Modifications concluded on 24th February 2023. The Representations received and the Committee responses are now available to view on the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan Review page and the Planning Policy Library under document reference STA31 and STA32 which can be found here.

Examination update 13 January 2023

In response to the Inspector's Post Hearing Letter, the Central Lincolnshire Joint Strategic Planning Committee has prepared a schedule of Recommended Main Modifications to the Plan, which has now been published for consultation. The Consultation and further information about how to participate can be viewed on our dedicated consultation website.

The Consultation will run from Friday 13 January 2023 until Friday 24 February 2023.

text | Central Lincs | Local Plan Review Examination

The review

On 8th July 2022 the Local Plan Review was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate, in order for it to commence its independent examination. Regulation 22(3) Notice of submission.

The submission documents include:

  • The pre-submission version of the local plan review that was consulted on between March and May 2022
  • Submission Policy Maps
  • The representations that were received during the consultation
  • Policy Evidence Reports specific to each individual policy in the Local Plan, which tell the story of how each policy has been prepared
  • A range of subject categories: Each containing technical evidence, research, studies and strategies which directly inform Local Plan policies within that subject area.

A Procedure Guide for Local Plan Examinations has been prepared by the Planning Inspectorate, this guide is aimed at all those involved in the process and concerned with the procedural aspect of examining the Local Plan.
