Neighbourhood Plans open for consultation

Date Published: 05 May 2021

Two Parish Councils within North Kesteven have worked with their local communities to develop Neighbourhood Plans, which are now in a consultation phase.

Residents of Branston and Mere and Bracebridge Heath are encouraged to go online and view the plans before submitting their feedback to North Kesteven District Council for consideration.

Neighbourhood Plans are an opportunity for communities to set out their own vision for the development of their area, and cover issues such as local planning policy, transport and rights of way, and green infrastructure. A Neighbourhood Plan directly affects decision-making on planning matters so resident feedback is encouraged.
