ArtsNK are a unique team of visual and performing arts specialists that initiates and supports arts projects across the North Kesteven district, Lincolnshire and the East midlands. Their purpose is the strengthen and enrich the arts to make a meaningful and valued contribution to the well being of the District, County and the East Midlands; and to do this by working in villages and communities, providing specialist support and expertise and through long term developmental relationships.

The Terry O’Toole Theatre is an intimate, 200 seat arts theatre which presents a vibrant, high quality programme of professional drama, music, dance and children’s theatre, complemented by a wide range of community performances. As well as performances, they boast a lively Take Part programme, including artsNK Youth Dance, Djembe drum workshops and ACTion Community Theatre.

The National Centre for Craft and Design sits at the heart of the market town of Sleaford in Lincolnshire in the beautiful riverside setting of Navigation Wharf. It is a world class venue, the largest in England, entirely dedicated to the exhibition, celebration and promotion of international and national craft and design.

The Centre boasts five exciting gallery spaces producing a highly respected seasonal exhibitions programme of the most innovative, challenging and accomplished artists practising within the craft and design arena today.

The Playhouse was restored to a working theatre in 2000 and has had a varied history. Originally built as a theatre, it was subsequently adapted for a variety of other uses to meet the demands of the time, and is now once more a working Georgian theatre, one of only two remaining in the country. Sleaford Little Theatre now has the ‘home’ they have dreamed of and the town has an invaluable venue for all sorts of events.
