Residents can now apply online to join or renew the garden waste service for 2017/18.
The charge for the year will be £30 for the collection of a single garden waste bin and £12 for each additional bin.
The collection period will be from the 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2018 and we will empty brown bins every other week except during December and January, when the frequency reduces, or when other factors stop us, such as very bad weather.
If you are an existing customer we hope you will still consider the service good value for money.
New for 2017/18 is the opportunity to pay for your service by Direct Debit which is one of the simplest and most convenient ways for you to pay regular and occasional bills.
Please note that customers who are purchasing a bin as well as requesting the service will not be able to sign up for direct debits.
To join the service for 2017/18 or to set up an ongoing annual Direct Debit subscription please apply online. Please note if payment is made using a credit card you will be charged an additional 50p.
In order that you may benefit from a seamless collection then please re-join before 31st March 2017. Not doing so may impact on your first collection as it may take 48 hours for customer details to be registered before collections can commence.
By providing us with an email address we can communicate bin collection information directly to your in-box. This proved useful over Christmas when we were able to send details of collection changes directly to garden waste customers who had already provided us with an email.
By completing an application and paying for the service, you will be accepting these terms and conditions of use. Once we have received your payment, we will send you a welcome pack that will include your 2017/2018 sticker(s) and collection calendar, these being dispatched from the 1st March onwards.
Please remember that since April 2015 there has been a ban on the disposal of garden waste in residual waste containers (black bins).
Once you have signed up to the service your collection dates will be added alongside your black and green dates on the link below.
If you like to find out your collection dates before signing up, you may request a calendar with our online form.
