We are responsible for the grass cutting on Council owned land within the District and numerous areas of dedicated open space which we have adopted. We also undertake grass cutting on an agency basis for both Parish Councils and the Lincolnshire County Council, in the form of cutting grass verges in certain areas.
Our grounds maintenance service is contracted out to a private company who should ensure that the grass on these sites should not exceed 60mm in height before being cut. Grass cuttings are not removed from these sites, as the frequency should ensure that the grass is never left too long so as to cause it to look unsightly.
We also look after a certain amount of shrub beds within the District and these too should be maintained as to always be in good condition.
If an area of grass or shrubs are missed or if you feel a poor cut has been made please report a grass or shrub cutting problem here.
