The Committee

The purpose of the Planning Committee meeting is for the District Council to consider two Lincolnshire County Council Consultation Applications for the following developments in its role as a statutory consultee:

  • PL/0036/18 - Villa Farm, Norton Disney - Erection of an animal by-products processing facility and associated works.
  • PL/0055/18 - Jerusalem Farm, Skellingthorpe - Demolition of existing animal by products processing plant and construction of a new animal by products processing plant and associated works. Construction of 3 eco homes and a manager’s house. Construction of community use building and use of pond for recreation and fishing.

Two planning applications will be discussed at this meeting and Lincolnshire County Council are the decision-making Authority for both applications.

To register your interest in attending please call 0333 247 0253 and leave your name, address, contact details and the application to which you would like to attend (a 24 hour answerphone service is available). This number will remain open from 12 noon on Friday 24th August 2018 until all seats have been allocated.

Please note that entry to this meeting is for registered attendees only, and only one registered attendee per household will be issued. For health and safety reasons the maximum capacity for attendees is 60 for each application. Seats will be registered on a first come first served basis.

The first planning application PL/0036/18 - Villa Farm, Norton Disney will commence at 5pm. Registered attendees for the first application will be entitled to enter the chamber from 4.30pm.

The second planning application PL/0055/18 - Jerusalem Farm, Skellingthorpe will not be considered until at least 6.30pm. Registered attendees for the second application will not be entitled to enter the meeting until the first application has been considered.

Attendees will not be able to speak unless registered, but will be able to observe and listen to the debate.

How do I register to speak?

By telephoning 01529 304807 (24 hour answerphone service). You have from the day the committee agenda is published; usually 6 working days before the meeting - until 12 noon 2 working days before the meeting. This is the only way you can register a request to speak at a planning meeting.

Democratic Services will call you back to confirm meeting arrangements.

To help ensure fair proceedings, late requests to speak will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances, with the approval of the Chairman.

If you wish, photographs, illustrative drawings or presentations may be used within the three minutes speaking time, but you must make sure that our Planning Division has them by 12 noon on the Friday before the Committee meeting. After 12 noon on the Friday before the Committee meeting no further requests to speak or presentation materials will be accepted.
