A number of countryside conservation services are available including the provision of advice, grants for the protection and enhancement of the appearance and wildlife interest of the countryside, and support for organisations involved in countryside conservation.
The Council also undertakes research on these issues and supports the research of others in order to provide a basis for its activities.
