Paul Weldon
Paul has a first class BSc (Hons) in Fire Safety and is a corporate member of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). He is employed as the Building Control Manager and Access Officer for North Kesteven District Council. Having worked in Building Control for over 30 years he has an extensive knowledge and experience of the Building Regulations and Allied Legislation, Dangerous Structures, Demolitions and Illegal Building Work. He is able to give quotes for proposed Building Control works.
Fred McGregor
Fred has a first class BSc (Hons) in Fire Safety and is a corporate member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (MCABE). He qualified as a Lead FRACS fire risk assessor in 2015 and is competent to carry out fire risk assessments in both the Public and Private sector. He is a Principal Building Control Surveyor for North Kesteven District Council with over 30 years experience, he has extensive knowledge and experience of the Building Regulations and Allied Legislation, Dangerous Structures, Demolitions and Illegal Building Work. He is able to give quotes for proposed Building Control works.
Lee Stewart
Lee has BSc (Hons) in Building and is a corporate member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (C.Build E MCABE). He is a Building Control Surveyor for North Kesteven District Council for over 19 years, over 32 years in total within the construction industry. He has an excellent knowledge and experience of the Building Regulations and Allied Legislation, Dangerous Structures, Demolitions and Illegal Building Work. He carries out both domestic and commercial site inspections throughout the District as requested by our customers and clients, along with periodic progress inspections as required by our Quality Control System. He has also carried out further training that allows him to carry out Access Audits on behalf of the Authority.
Bob McMath
Bob has a BSc (Hons) in Building and a Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB/Local Authority Building Control (LABC), Level 5 Diploma in Building Control Surveying and is a corporate member of Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB). He has worked in the Construction Industry for over 20 years and he has gained excellent knowledge and experience during this time. He is a Building Control Surveyor for North Kesteven District Council. Having worked in Building Control for over 5 years he has an excellent knowledge of the Building Regulations and Allied Legislation, Dangerous Structures, Demolitions and Illegal Building Work. He carries out the majority of site inspections requested for the North of the District, along with periodic progress inspections as required by our Quality Control System.
Jo Shakespeare
Jo is a Building Control Technician for North Kesteven District Council. Jo comes from a compliance and customer service background, with over 15 years’ experience in these fields. Jo has completed her Level 3 Building Control Technician qualification and she is able to give general Building Control advice.
Sean Footitt
Sean has a Level 6 NVQ in Building Control and is an Associate member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. Sean has worked within the construction industry for over 30 years as a bricklayer, builder, shopfitter and site agent in both the domestic and commercial sectors and as such has gained varied experience and knowledge of the industry and likes to take a practical outlook whilst on site. Sean has spent the past 6 years employed as a Building Control Surveyor where he has gained further knowledge of Building Regulations, The Building Act 1984 and associated legislation. Sean is employed by North Kesteven District Council as a Building Control Surveyor and will generally carry out requested site visits and periodic progress visits in the South of the district.
Leigh Page
Leigh has 15 years’ experience in Building Control covering domestic to commercial work, including listed buildings, hospitals, and schools. Leigh has 35 years’ experience in the construction industry. 34 years working in Local Government. He has undertaken training to be able to carry out asbestos surveys and sampling and also H.H.S.R.S. surveys for decent homes standards.
