As a statutory requirement, under the Home Energy Conservation Act 1995, North Kesteven District Council must report what they intend to do to significantly improve the energy efficiency of residential housing stock in the district. Local authorities must report to the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy every two years.
North Kesteven District Council supports private renters and owners to improve their properties, aims to bring all its social housing up to the decent homes standard, and actively seeks to build highly energy and thermally efficient homes.
