Planning decisions

When a planning application has been decided, the Council will issue a ‘decision notice’ which clearly states whether permission is granted or refused. This will be sent to the applicant and also published online.

If an application is approved, it may be subject to conditions. For example, it may be that the Council allow an extension to a house, on the condition that the bricks used to build the extension match the existing house.

Decision notices, along with all other documents relating to the planning application, can be viewed on Planning Online.
