Your Cost of Living News NK guide

A new guide focusing on the increasing cost of living will be landing on households' doormats from today (5 December) in North Kesteven.

To ensure everyone has an opportunity to see the help which may be available to them, North Kesteven District Council has created a four-page cost of living publication arriving as a wrap-around with the latest NewsNK.

In getting this special publication to residents before Christmas, it's hoped it might bring them latest guidance at a useful time and advise of sources of support and help, community responses and potential access to benefits and financial relief.

It sits alongside all the information on the Council's website including a dedicated page on cost of living, guidance to be shared via the Council's social media channels @northkestevendc, e-news bulletins, and of course local news sources and our partnership work and role in the countywide response.

If it doesn't relate to your circumstances now, it's hoped perhaps it might still have relevance in helping others around you such as friends, family or neighbours who may be feeling worried or concerned.

It also highlights organisations which are forming part of the response in North Kesteven, from food banks and the Sleaford Community Grocer to support from local groups and good causes - which could benefit greatly from any support you may wish to lend.
If your circumstances allow it, there's also the Thrive appeal by Lincolnshire Community Foundation which aims to raise funds for those experiencing hardship in the county - there's more information on the Thrive Lincolnshire website on how to donate and support.

The Council continues to invest in the District to help ensure there is a positive future ahead. You can read about some of this work in NewsNK and on our channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @northkestevendc or sign up for e-newsletters.
