Warm Homes Local Grant

Warm Homes Local Grant

The Warm Homes: Local Grant is a government funded scheme delivered by local authorities. The scheme offers funding for energy efficiency improvements to make homes warmer, more comfortable, and cheaper to heat.

The Warm Homes Local Grant is available for properties both on and off gas.

If you’re eligible and funding is available the improvements suggested will be things such as:

  • Wall, loft and underfloor insulation
  • Air source heat pumps
  • Smart controls
  • Solar panels

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scheme your home must:

  • Be in North Kesteven.
  • Be privately owned (either by you or your landlord)
  • have an Energy Performance Certificate of D, E, F or G

If you do not know your home's energy certificate you can find your energy certificate on GOV.UK.

Your household income must usually be £36,000 a year or less. If your household income is higher than this, you might still be eligible if either:

  • You live in a certain postcode area
  • Someone in your household is in receipt of certain benefits

Warm Homes: Local Grant funding supports households in fuel poverty, with priority given to applicants whose savings do not exceed £16,000.
