What is the Home Upgrade Grant?
If you are a homeowner in North Kesteven, you can now apply for funding to make energy efficiency improvements to your property, to help keep your home warm and reduce energy bills.
The Home Upgrade Grant (currently in phase 2) is only applicable for off-gas properties and allows different allocations of funding per household depending on building archetype and building construction.
For example, an end of terrace house with solid wall construction could receive up to £38,000 in funding, whereas a mid-terrace house with cavity wall construction could receive up to £22,000 in funding.
The funding can be used to help cover the cost of a wide range of retrofit measures, including roof and wall insulation, solar PV, and other low carbon heating solutions.
