Housing Growth in Medium and Small Villages (Local Plan Policy LP4)

Policy LP4 provides a strategic steer as to what level of growth over the plan period is appropriate for all small and medium villages (as identified in the Settlement Hierarchy in Policy LP2). North Kesteven and West Lindsey District Council provide a monitoring note of the latest position on permissions and completions and remaining growth level for each listed village in their area.

Local Plan Review

Since the adoption of the Local Plan, the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) was updated in July 2018 and there has been a major update to the Planning Practice Guidance (PPG). In response to the changes to national policy, the Joint Strategic Planning Committee at their meeting on 14th January 2019 approved a proposed review of the Local Plan along with a revised Local Development Scheme (LDS) which sets out the timetable for the Local Plan review.

The revised Local Development Scheme is available to download below, on the Local Plan page and in the Local Plan Supporting Information section of the Planning Policy Library.
