Local Plan Review 2019
Draft Local Plan Consultation
The consultation on the Draft Central Lincolnshire Local Plan has now commenced. The consultation runs for 8 weeks from 30 June to 24 August 2021
This is the first opportunity to view and comment on the new Local Plan which is proposed to replace the Local Plan adopted in 2017. This consultation follows on from the Issues and Options consultation undertaken in June and July 2019.
The plan addresses a range of issues such as climate change, housing, employment, shopping and more. We welcome any views and comments on any of the draft policies, supporting text, or maps throughout the document and any associated evidence.
This is your chance to comment on the plan before it is finalised for submission to the planning inspectorate for examination. The Draft Local Plan, maps, associated evidence and consultation forms are available on the home page of this website and on the consultation hub pages.
The policies in the plan are supported by a range of evidence documents which are available to view on the Local Plan Consultation Library page.
An interactive map showing the sites proposed for allocations and other designations in the plan, and PDFs of the Policies Map can be viewed on the Local Plan Consultation Maps page.
Paper copies of the Draft Local Plan are available to view at City of Lincoln, North Kesteven, West Lindsey and Lincolnshire County Council office receptions and at Lincoln Central, Gainsborough, Sleaford and Market Rasen Libraries. Please ensure that you check opening times and other arrangements that may be in place before visiting any of the above locations as you may need to make an appointment.
Information on how to comment is available on the home page of this web site and at each of the above venues. Please ensure you submit your comments before the close of the consultation as late submissions will not be accepted.

Housing Growth in Medium and Small Villages (Local Plan Policy LP4)
Policy LP4 provides a strategic steer as to what level of growth over the plan period is appropriate for all small and medium villages (as identified in the Settlement Hierarchy in Policy LP2). North Kesteven and West Lindsey District Council provide a monitoring note of the latest position on permissions and completions and remaining growth level for each listed village in their area.
