Local Plan Review 2019
The Local Plan Review is proposed to replace the Local Plan adopted in 2017. It addresses a range of issues such as climate change, housing, employment, shopping and more.
The review was begun with an Issues and Options consultation which was held in June and July 2019 followed by a Draft Local Plan consultation which was held in June, July and August 2021. Consultation on the next stage of the Local Plan review, a Proposed Submission Local Plan, took place between 16th March and 9th May 2022.
On 8th July 2022 the Local Plan Review was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate in order for it to commence its examination. All documents submitted, including the Proposed Submission Local Plan, the range of evidence documents that support the policies in the plan, an interactive map and PDFs of the Policies Map showing the sites proposed for allocations and other designations in the plan can be viewed on the Local Plan Review page.
The web site will be updated shortly with further information about the examination.
