The council's grounds are maintained by a private company that ensures the grass on these sites does not exceed 60mm in height. Grass cuttings are not removed, as this upper limit on the height of grass ensures that the cuttings do not look unsightly.
The council also maintains a certain amount of shrub beds within the district - see the map below.
