Historic features uncovered as Sleaford shopfronts given a new lease of life

Forgotten heritage features are being uncovered and buildings being restored thanks to funding to preserve historic shopfronts in Sleaford town centre.

Paving now being laid at Sleaford Market Place

After lots of careful preparation and groundworks, paving is now starting to be laid at Sleaford's Market Place.

The paving has now begun to be put down at Sleaford Market Place, commencing this week (7 October). A construction worker can be seen in the background, and in the foreground the pavers that have been laid stretch vertically away from the camera. They are various shades of sandstone and look smart.
