North Kesteven District Council owns 3805 houses. As part of our Corporate Priorities we aim to ensure that these homes are of a high standard of quality and repair.
The Council housing stock includes family houses, flats, bungalows and specialist sheltered housing for older persons or for those with support needs. Housing Associations, also known as Registered Social Landlords, have properties in the North Kesteven area for rent and shared ownership, the Council nominates to around 50% of their vacancies.
We allocate our properties and nominate people to Housing Associations in a fair and open manner using a Housing Register and a points system. The points system helps us to give priority to people who are in the most urgent need of alternative housing. Only people registered with us can be offered accommodation. All applicants are required to complete a Housing Register application form.
