Why is Contamination a Problem

Recycling rates are over 50% but the level of contamination has risen so high that we run the risk of our recycling being rejected by our contractor.

I am unable to get my bin to the edge of my property, what can I do?

The Council runs a scheme called an Assisted Collection where your wheeled bin is collected from and returned to the house.

What size bins are available to households?

The brown bin, and in most cases, the black bin is 240 litres. A larger 360 litre green bin can be purchased.
