Welcome to the Lincolnshire Improvement and Efficiency Partnership website.
Lincolnshire has had a Shared Services Partnership since 2006. This has developed into the Improvement and Efficiency Partnership and recently (2009) has taken its place under the Sustainable Community Strategy "Working Together Better" theme.
There has been significant progress in Lincolnshire since 2006, and substantial achievements related to the implementation of partnership initiatives. There is a robust governance framework, involving the Leaders and Chief Executives of Local Government, health, police and other partners. Partnership projects have addressed a range of objectives, principally related to better outcomes for customers and efficiency gains for partners. The Sustainable Community Strategy is providing a basis for shared commitment to priorities for Lincolnshire.
In 2010 a new programme office has assumed responsibility for reporting on projects across all themes of the Sustainable Community Strategy. It will enable reporting to the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership.
The Working Together Better theme is intended to support delivery of the other five outcome based themes. Four outcomes have been identified for the theme:
- Customer Insight - using customer insight to inform priorities for Lincolnshire
- Using Resources - effective use of resources to deliver priorities for Lincolnshire
- Managing Performance - achieving high performance for Lincolnshire
- Leadership - leading Lincolnshire effectively
These outcomes are designed to achieve a broad purpose - to ensure that the partnership is working together better to deliver shared priorities within the Sustainable Community Strategy, improved customer service and greater efficiency.
Going forward, measures related to purpose and outcomes will be developed for each project within the Working Together Better programme.
